Jailey's Garden

Birds, yarn, and little handmade things.

Hi, I'm Jailey! This is my cozy corner of the internet, where I share the three things I love most: watching birds, crocheting, and making soap and candles.

Field notes

Birdwatching

I love slowing down, listening, and finding who is singing in the trees. Every walk is a little treasure hunt.

Blue JayLoud, bright, and impossible to miss.
American GoldfinchA tiny flash of sunshine.
Northern CardinalRed coat, big song.
Black-capped ChickadeeSays its own name.

On my hook

Crochet

One loop at a time, a ball of yarn turns into something soft and real. Crochet is my calm.

Granny squaresLittle squares that grow into blankets.
Tiny plushiesSmall, squishy friends.
Flower bookmarksFor every book on my shelf.
Cozy scarvesWarm, soft, and made for chilly mornings.

Handmade

Soap & Candles

Pouring, scenting, and waiting for it to set. Making soap and candles feels like a little bit of magic.

Herb soap barsGreen, fresh, and garden-scented.
Lavender candlesSoft purple glow for slow evenings.
Pressed-flower topsReal petals set right into the wax.
Gift bundlesA soap and a candle, wrapped with twine.
